Rihanna equals Madonna's record

Rihanna's "Unapologetic" sold nearly 100,000 copies last week to debut at No. 1 on yesterday's new U.K. album chart. But the real sales story of the week, and the year, came in the less-publicised compilation chart, where "Now! That's What I Call Music 83" sold 295,000 copies, the highest tally for any album in 2012. Singles-wise, English pop hitmaker Olly Murs upstaged Girls Aloud's reunion by beating them to No. 1 with "Troublemaker," featuring Flo Rida.

Rihanna thus equals the record for a female artist of three consecutive chart-toppers, jointly held by Madonna, Norah Jones and Eva Cassidy. The Barbadian superstar first hit the U.K. album summit with "Good Girl Gone Bad" in 2007, but only reached No. 9 with the 2009 follow-up "Rated R." Her quickfire three-in-a-row sequence began in 2010 with "Loud" and continued with last year's "Talk That Talk." On the new singles chart, she falls 9-10 with "Diamonds," but enters at No. 36 with "Right Now," featuring David Guetta, No. 63 with "Nobody's Business" featuring Chris Brown, and No. 75 with "Half Of Me."


One Direction's "Take Me Home" fell to No. 2 after last week's best-selling debut, with 72,000 new sales, in a new top ten featuring four more new entries. Their Syco labelmates, female pop act Little Mix, arrived at No. 3 with "DNA" on 53,000 sales, with Led Zeppelin's "Celebration Day" in at No. 4 (50,000 units) to extend the erstwhile rock giants' span of U.K. top ten albums to 43 years, since their self-titled debut reached No. 6 in 1969.

A new deluxe edition of Michael Bublé's "Christmas" album, which already has U.K. sales of 1.3 million from a worldwide total of 7m according to Reprise/Warner Music, took the festive set back into the chart at No. 5. Bublé is due to play no fewer than ten nights at London's 02 Arena next summer. Scottish vocalist Susan Boyle's "Standing Ovation - The Greatest Songs" opened at No. 7 to give Syco Music a third top ten title of the week.


The "Now! 83" set  debuted at No. 1 on the compilation chart only four weeks after the 82nd volume completed a 13-week run at the top. The new hits collection's huge 295,000 opening tally was well ahead of the 267,000 for its predecessor.

2009 "X Factor" contestant Murs, now the anchor for its companion show "Xtra Factor," is proving a durable chart act, now taking his total of No. 1 singles to four. "Troublemaker" follows 2010's "Please Don't Let Me Go" and last year's "Heart Skips A Beat" and "Dance With Me Tonight," and the singer's third album, "Right Place Right Time," is released in the U.K. today (Monday). The single sold 121,000 copies last week, easily outdoing Girls Aloud's much-vaunted return at No. 2 with "Something New," which is in aid of the BBC's Children In Need appeal and sold 70,000 units.

One Direction's "Little Things" fell 1-3 in a top ten that featured one other arrival, Alicia Keys' "Girl On Fire" at No. 5. London quartet Rudimental followed their "Feel The Love" No. 1 with a No. 14 debut for "Not Giving In" and Columbia/Sony's release of AC/DC's entire catalog on iTunes gave the Anglo-Australian rock veterans a considerable chart presence. "Back In Black" made its singles chart debut, 32 years after its first release, at No. 27, with "Highway To Hell" at No. 40, "You Shook Me All Night Long" No. 42, "Thunderstruck" No. 42 and "Whole Lotta Rosie" No. 68. The new "Live At River Plate" album charted at No. 14 and "Back In Black" reappeared at No. 61.

I Have SEX Over 300 Women Unprotected - Wanluv Reveals

Controversial Ghanaian Pidgin English rapper Wanlov the Kubolor has granted yet another mind-boggling interview with television presenter Delay, during which he disclosed that he has four children with four different women.

Kubolor also said he currently has active sex mates numbering between 10 and 15 and that he has over the years had unprotected sex with some 300 different women.
“I know they would be more than 300 but not up to 500. I believe I have had sex with about 300 of them- both young and old.

One was as young as 17 but she does not look it. Sometimes they are as old as 49 or 50,” Wanlov noted.
Speaking on the rebranded ‘Delay Show’ on Viasat 1 last Friday, Wanlov said though he had heard all the education about HIV, he preferred to have unprotected sex because he did not enjoy using condoms.
“I have heard about HIV but I do not think about it just like I always walk bare footed and I do not think of the possibility of something piercing or cutting my feet.”

Interestingly, the musician said he had not performed any marital rites for any of the four women who had children for him.

He explained: “For me, I don’t believe in the concept of marriage.
I am not moved by external pressure where I have to hold a ceremony in the presence of some people to prove a bond between my wife and I.
I don’t see such things as important. I know the child we have together is more powerful than ring, marriage, customs and all that.

My focus is how to cater for my wife and child in a responsible way.
“My criteria for a woman for whole carry my baby is someone who has a good heart and loves people. I select the women who I want to give birth for me. None was by accident.”
Wanlov said three of his ‘wives’ were outside Ghana studying midwifery but one was in Ghana working as a fruit seller at Dzorwulu in Accra.

When asked by Delay whether he was living an exemplary life as a role model to several young persons, Wanlov expressed shock he was being considered as a role model.
“I am not a role model. I am a musician. I am a kubolor and I have not asked anyone to make me a role model. I just do what I like,” he noted.

Rihanna to launch new fragrance' 'nude'

She’s a worldwide famous pop star and fashion icon but it seems her talents don’t stop there as Rihanna has announced when she will launch her third fragrance Nude by Rihanna.

The new perfume will be released in Macy’s on Black Friday (November 23), the huge shopping day in the US after Thanksgiving, reports WWD.

Rihanna said: “When creating my first scent, Reb’l Fleur, I wanted it to be a really strong scent – daring and bold. I have gotten more personal with Nude.”

Rihanna has previously released Reb’l Fleur and Rebelle, however, the pop singer might expand her beauty brand as she “alluded to the possibility of creating a cosmetics or hair-care line in the future.”

Prior to the fragrance’s launch date, Rihanna will release her new album 'Unapologetic' on November 19.

When speaking of her album’s lead single ‘Diamonds’, Rihanna admitted that it is her favourite single.

She said: “It used to be ‘Umbrella’ before ‘Diamonds’ came along. It’s a really powerful song even to listen to, it just gets you…you just get sucked in. Even if you’re in the club, it really f**ks with your head.”

On a heart to heart interview with one of Ghana’s infamous TV personality, Deloris Frimpong Manso, Eazzy aka Mildred Ashong stated that she saw herself and Keitta in a love unbreakable by anybody. "I don't like Selena Gomez by the way..." she told her fans.

Meanwhile Selena was left speechless by Justin and the model hanging out and re-tweeted the picture of the pair together before their Lion King date with the message “……”.

Fans soon jumped on the message and the photo and started speculating that things were not well between the couple.

Clearly unsettled by the speculation Barbara took to Twitter to tell fans: “hey everyone. please calm down. he is all yours!! :) please :)”

Justin and Selena have been dating for two yers, but according to reports, they have allegedly been going through a rough patch recently, with rumours they are “constantly breaking up”.

A rep for Barbara had "couldn't comment" on the story and reps for Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber could not be reached.

There is a general belief that celebrities on twitter are so cold. The reason why most people subscribe to this school of thought is that, more often that not, when they mention these celebrities in a tweet, they fail to reply or even retweet.

Blakk Rasta’s Wife Dies

This week is indeed a bad week in the history of Ghana.

After Asamoah Gyan’s mother death yesterday afternoon and a tragic collapse of Achimota branch of Melcom shopping center, Peacefmonline.com is reliably informed that vocal and popular Radio Presenter Blakk Rasta has lost his wife to the cold arms of death.

According to our investigations his wife died early this morning after a short illness. Confirming this to Peacefmonline.com, the “Taxi Drive” host said the unfortunate incident happened about four hours ago in Takoradi where his wife and kids lives.

According to Blakk Rasta his wife Sakina Ahmed has being complaining about two weeks now of stomach ache and she has been receiving medical attention since then but she couldn’t survive.

“I was informed by my people about four hours ago that my wife passed away. It is a very difficult time for me but God knows best”, Blakk Rasta told Peacefmonline.com.

2 Celebrities Join NPP

Good old Katawere aka Agya Afari of hit television drama series ‘Efiewura’ fame, and award-winning musician Adane Best, on Monday officially joined the campaign wagon of Nana Akufo Addo, presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Katawere, known in private life as Ebenezer Donkor, mounted the NPP campaign platform and urged several thousands of listening electorate to cast their vote in favour of Nana Addo on December 7.

The old actor received huge applause and cheers when he started dancing ‘Azonto’ on the campaign stage as part of his theatrics to entertain the NPP party faithful. Adane Best, on his part, used his hit ‘Jata Bi’ song to entertain party faithful that had gathered for a mini rally at Chorkor, a popular Accra coastal town.

The musician thrilled the crown when he appeared on stage with a puppet leopard, dancing to his ‘Jata Bi ‘song as he called for votes for Nana Addo.

On same day, several members of the creative arts industry including hi-life musician Kwabena Kwabena; movie producer and Public Relations Officer of the Film Producers Association of Ghana (FIPAG) Socrate Sarfo; music producer Mark Okraku Mantey, Fredyma, a sound engineer and music producer; actresses Vivian Jill Lawrence, Mercy Asiedu, and Auntie B. of ‘Efiewura’ fame; actor Bill Asamoah; musicians C-Zar and Naa Agyeman and many others visited the Nima residence of Nana Akufo-Addo to assure him of their support for the December 7 polls.

It is significant when members of the creative arts industry publicly declare their support for an opposition political party and the NPP candidate, Nana Addo, aware of this, expressed his appreciation to the celebrities.

Nana Addo repeated his pledge to make the creative arts industry one of his top priorities if given an opportunity to serve as president of Ghana.

He explained that the creative arts sector, if managed properly and with the requisite structures put in place, could rake huge revenues for the country and also be an enviable source of income for its stakeholders.

Reports said several more celebrities would be declaring support for Nana Addo and would be regular features on his campaign platforms.

Lady Gaga's Producer DJ White Shadow Slams Nicki Minaj: 'You're Not Talented'

A producer who has worked extensively with Lady Gaga has taken to Twitter to blast Nicki Minaj in a seemingly unprovoked attack, claiming she isn't talented.

DJ White Shadow produced the majority of Lady Gaga's second studio album Born This Way album, including songs 'Americano,' 'Bloody Mary' and 'The Edge of Glory'.

On Tuesday, something appeared to have rattled his cage because he tweeted: "Ok. Nicki Minaj. F**k you. Get a grip. You are lucky, not talented. Stop. Please stop. XO. DJWS."

The tweet was deleted shortly after, but White Shadow addressed his comment again, later writing:

"Oops didn't mean to delete that. But I don't recall what I said, basically it was "come on son" to nicki. Cause you are wack."

Nicki's dedicated fans were clearly furious with the jabs and bombarded the DJ with defensive messages on behalf of the rapper, however, White Shadow was standing by his opinion.

"You can be judgmental. My views are my own. I am by myself. I don't hate. It's not hate, just dislike for poor taste," he replied. It isn't known what caused White Shadow to launch into a rant about the Young Money rapper.

The 'Starships' hitmaker hasn't responded to the comments, no doubt busy with her new three-part reality show, Nicki Minaj: My Truth, in which she addresses her turbulent relationship with American Idol co-judge Mariah Carey.

"I think Mariah met her match this time, and I don't think she was expecting to meet her match," Nicki says on her show.

"I'm super nervous and anxious for the first day on American Idol. I'm still second guessing my decision. I'm probably going to be a hundred times guessing this decision because I'm human. It's a big job", Nicki said whilst cameras followed her around as she prepared for her first day on the talent show last month.

The God of Heaven has chosen sexy, saucy singer Mzbel and award-winning actor Majid Michel to become a prophetess and an Evangelist respectively - says pastor.

This was revealed by Leader and Founder of Baidoo Gospel Church International, Nyame Akwaa Paemuka
Senior, who said he had seen this in a vision from Jehovah God.

“I saw in a vision that I was in a very big church with a huge congregation and when it was time for preaching it was Majid who went forward.

He was dressed in an all-white suit and as he was preaching people were receiving their healing; the blind started seeing and the deaf started hearing. Cripples were leaving their wheel chairs and running forward.

“I asked God what that meant and He said Majid has been chosen and destined to become an Evangelist.

God told me that the fame Majid has earned over the years would become a major tool through which he would spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” Paemuka Senior told NEWS-ONE in an interview on Tuesday.

The man of God said he was yet to disclose the vision to Majid in person because the actor was on location in Nigeria.

Paemuka Senior said he had however told Mzbel of a vision he saw, to the effect that she would become a Prophetess very soon and be known as ‘Osofo Maame Akua’.

According to the pastor, he was on Adom FM’s evening program when he asked the Producer to call Mzbel on phone for him to inform her of her divine calling from God to become a Prophetess.

“Henceforth anyone who calls her Osofo Maame Akua or Osofo Maame Mzbel will be blessed but if you do not add Osofo Maame to her name, you would be cursed.

She may either marry a pastor and join him to do God’s work or she would eventually start her own church and become a Prophetess.

“When God speaks we must obey rather than attack the integrity of the prophets.

I have seen these things in a vision from God and it is my duty to bring them out and tell the whole world.

You better believe it and pray about it because what God told me about Kennedy Agyepong that he was bound to get into trouble had come to pass.

When I first said it, no one believed me. People called me an attention seeker,” Paemuka Senior stated.

He said the Baidoo Gospel Church International was based in Akomadan in the Offinso North district of the Ashanti Region.

Rihanna And Katy Perry ‘Barely Talking Since Chris Brown Reunion’

Rihanna and her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown may be on the verge of getting back together but there’s one person who is allegedly far from happy, and that is RiRi’s celebrity BFF Katy Perry.

The pair, who are known to be good gal pals are “barely talking” since Rihanna has publicly become close to her ex, who was convicted of beating her up in 2009.

A source has told the New York Daily News that “there has been tension” between them, and that Perry didn’t go to the ‘Rude Boy’ singer’s Halloween party.

Instead, Katy has been hanging out with her Hollywood pals Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, despite having sat with Rihanna when she kissed Chris Brown on the lips in front of a stunned audience at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this year.

The insider added that Katy is worried that “Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be a part of it.”

But it hasn’t all be fun and games for Katy and the ‘Twilight’ actors as the ‘California Gurls’ singer has allegedly “warned” Kristen over hurting Rob again, after the 22-year-old was caught cheating this summer with her ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’ director.

Ghanaian comedian and actor Liwin, aka Kojo Amponsah, has expressed displeasure at the unlawful use of his photos by publicists to promote movies he is not a part of.

According to the actor’s management, the act is tarnishing the actor’s image and it is also deceiving his fans.

Abdul Razak Amissah, manager of Liwin told Hitz Entertainment, the actor is “very furious because promoters are trying to tarnish the boy’s image and he is not happy about it.” “As a manager, I am also not happy about it because I don’t see why they are doing that, whether it is hatred or somebody is a having a problem with him.”

Razak disclosed that they have contacted the Film Producers Association of Ghana and the Akan Film Producers Association of Ghana to lodge a formal complaint about the issue.

Liwin is currently one of Ghana’s biggest movie stars featuring in several productions including Azonto Ghost, Mogya Kronkron, Sika Kasa, Bonsam Bofo, Obaa Nti and Agye Nyame Bamu.

At 24, Liwin is very particular about his looks especially what people say about his face. He makes no secret about his annoyance with people who say that he is ugly; perhaps the ugliest actor in Ghana. He told Showbiz last July, “Anybody who complains that I’m not handsome enough for movies doesn’t know the meaning of handsome”, he said.
“Handsomeness to me is determined by a person’s eyes. I have the sexiest eyeballs that any movie actor can have and that makes me unique. Almost on a daily basis, I get admirers, mostly ladies, who tell me that I’m handsome.

“I almost wept when a pretty lady met me the other day and said, ‘you’re not that bad so why do people keep insulting you that you’re ugly?’. After she left, I almost wept”.

Talking about how he came by the name Liwin, the actor told Showbiz that he and American rapper Lil Wayne look very much alike. “I say this all the time but people think I’m kidding. Lil Wayne and I share similar eyeballs, same height and same body size”.

Biebs has sparked rumours that he has split from Selena with a cryptic post on the photo site Instagram.
The ‘Beauty and a Beat’ singer published a solemn black and white photo with the caption ‘Lingse,’ which fans quickly pointed out is an anagram of ‘Single.’
Justin later deleted the photo, but added another similar photo of him supporting himself against a mirror titled ‘Just Me.’
The 18-year-old recently told Oprah Winfrey that he has “such a good time” with Selena, though reports circulating at the same time suggested that she was only staying with him “for her image.”
During a recent appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Justin’s mother Pattie Mallette spoke highly of Selena, saying: “She’s so sweet and she’s good for him, and they’re great together. They’re adorable.”
It was also claimed last month that the couple were building a home together on a plot of land they bought in Los Angeles.
