Carly Rae Jepsen, Rita Ora Confirmed For MTV EMA 2012

Carly Rae Jepsen, Rita Ora and Fun have been announced in addition to Taylor Swift and No Doubt to perform at the MTV EMA 2012.

More acts were confirmed to perform at the MTV EMA Awards next month these included ‘Call Me Maybe’ star Carly Rae Jepsen and British singer-songwriter Rita Ora.


The MTV EMA Awards will take place in Frankfurt on November 11 at 9pm and will see Jepsen and Ora perform for the first time at the EMA’s. Rita Ora told Capital FM: ''I’m so excited to be part of the 2012 MTV EMA! And to be nominated is incredible- let’s have some fun this year!''

Also announced to perform is Fun, they will be added to the list of already confirmed acts which include Muse.

Justin Bieber, One Direction, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey and Nicki Minaj have multiple nominations in the upcoming awards however it is Rihanna and Taylor Swift who have been dominating the nominations this year.

With Rihanna scooping a total of six nominations including Best Pop Act, Best Video for her hit ‘We Found Love’ and Best Female where she fights it out with fellow friend Katy Perry and country-pop princess Taylor Swift.

Taylor Swift is also nominated for Best Live and Best World Stage. We will see the award for Biggest Fans either awarded to One Direction, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Rihanna or Lady Gaga.

Supermodel Heidi Klum will host the event.

Beyonce & Jay-Z Celebrate Rita Ora's Number One Album

The Roc Nation songstress performed on Sunday, the second day of the music festival organised by Jay-Z, and was in great spirits after learning that her debut album ORA, had soared to number one in the UK.
Hanging out backstage, Rita was joined by her Roc boss Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, as they knocked back the drinks and partied away as they watched other acts perform throughout the day.


Under the guidance of Hova's management team, Rita has so far notched up three number one singles, including her debut solo track 'R.I.P.' featuring Tinie Tempah, all in the short space of the last year.
In addition to being a close friend of Rita's, Beyonce is also a close fan of the Londoner, praising her in a touching post on Tumblr.

Beyonce Shares Snaps Of Blue Ivy, Rita Ora & More On Tumblr

Beyonce has treated her fans to yet another batch of personal photos on her Tumblr page, featuring some of her family members including daughter Blue Ivy and Roc Nation newcomer Rita Ora.
The 'Party' songstress appears to have been storing photos since the beginning of July with some of the snaps being taken on the US' Independance Day on Fourth of July. Beyonce can be seen hanging out with her younger sister Solange Knowles, cousins and close girl friends around her hometown of Houston, Texas, while stepping it up a notch travelling around in a luxury jet.
Another snap shows Bey holding her seven-month-old daughter Blue Ivy while feeding her milk from a bottle. Supporting her father Jay-Z, the tot, who has her back towards the camera, can be seen wearing a Watch The Throne t-shirt, most likely while she was attending one of the rapper's concerts with Kanye West.
Other intimate snaps show Bey laughing on a swing being pushed by husband Jay-Z as their massive dog watches on, while she can be seen chatting away to Rita Ora in another snap.
