Mills' Medical Trip Will Last For More Than A Week...Returns June 25

It is very likely that President John Evans Atta Mills would not be returning to Ghana on 25th June as he earlier stipulated.

 Parliament has however been informed that the President will be away for more than a week. 

Edward Doe Adzaho who read the president's notice to the parliament says that he would back from the States on  25th June, 2012

The President’s letter reads: “In accordance with Article 59 of the Constitution of Ghana, I write to inform you that I shall be away in the US from Saturday, 16 June to Monday 25 June, 2012 for a routine medical check-up.

“During my absence the Vice-President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E John Dramani Mahama, shall in accordance with Article 60 (8) of the Constitution act in my stead. Kindly accept, Right Honourable the assurances of my highest consideration.
