Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been
plagued by rumours over what went wrong in their marriage ever since the
comedian filed for divorce in December 2011 and while many speculate
the reason behind the split, the 27 year-old singer has claimed no-one
but her and Russell will ever really know what went wrong.
Katy Perry and Russell Brand wedding lasted only for 1 year and 2 months and many people have been asking why they broke up. Katy Perry however insists that we can guess all what we can but "no one would actually know why we broke up".
She told The Hollywood reporter that
"Nobody knows what really happened except the two people who are in it"It is however very obvious that the break down of her marriage actually gave rise to her new movie and hit song "PART OF ME" a documentary showing the singer’s life during the her California Dreams tour and the star insisted that she wanted the depiction to be “honest”.
“Like how I write my songs, honesty has always worked for me,” she said.
“So if it ain’t broke, why f***ing fix it?.”
Katy Perry now 27 confessed that she found it hard to watch back some parts of the movie since it was and is very heart breaking for her.
“There were times when what was going on in my personal life was so overwhelming that I had to bend over to let those tears fall straight out of my eyes and not my false lashes just as I’m about to go up on that ramp and sing Teenage Dream,“ she explained.
