SHOULD T.B. JOSHUA BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY?

Let me take you down memory lane;

   

It is worth noting that all of the following predictions have failed. We expect that all of the predictions about our future will also fail.

1000-JAN-1: Many Christians in Europe had predicted the end of the world on this date. As the date approached, Christian armies waged war against some of the Pagan countries in Northern Europe. The motivation was to convert them all to Christianity, by force if necessary, before Christ returned in the year 1000. Meanwhile, some Christians had given their possessions to the Church in anticipation of the end. Fortunately, the level of education was so low that many citizens were unaware of the year. They did not know enough to be afraid. Otherwise, the panic might have been far worse than it was. Unfortunately, when Jesus did not appear, the church did not return the gifts. Serious criticism of the Church followed. The Church reacted by exterminating some heretics. Agitation settled down quickly, as it later did in the year 2000, therefore, my friends feel free and enjoy your lives nothing will 

I was there when I got a text message and it read "T.B. Joshua says no one should go on any social network like facebook, twitter, skype, WHATSAPP today and ever again. He says the devil is going to use it to cause deaths, spread the message to save the souls of people. Don't be selfish by keeping this message to yourself. Forward it to as many friends as possible"

In fact, I was shocked when I read it and I think I disagree with him because;
1. Social media are equally being used by pastors and other religious groups to promote the message of the Lord. So if because the devil is using social media and they can't also fight the devil, I don't why we should take pastors serious.

2. We were here when we equally heard rumors that Ahmadiyyas shouldn't go to facebook. This rumor spread so fast that it couldn't believe it. But at the end of the day, I did a research and realize that they hadn't been an edict signed by the Hadzrat nor his secretary or Imam. Last time, we were here on this Earth when J.B. Joshua said that Chelsea was going to win the champions League and after few  hours to the match, this man categorically denied ever saying that and on top of it all made a u-turn.

3. Predictions about this have always said and I think this is no expection.
