It is exactly one week since the President dead. The mood in Kumasi is not a joyful one at all. Generally, everyone is wearing an attire which contain the black colour, the red colour or both.
Most people are either going to work or tripping in to the Prempeh Assembly Hall or Jackson's Park to mourn the President's death.
There is no much noise in the region especially in the capital, Kumasi. There is no much business activity going on. The central business district, Adum, Roman Hill, Asafo, Central Market is relatively not busy.
Most public buildings have red and black strips decorated round it. Everyone here in Ashanti Region is mourning the death of the President.
