AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani believes it will be a struggle for the Rossoneri to compete with Spanish giants Barcelona and Real Madrid in the Champions League.Galliani is sure that his Serie A outfit can take on any other Italian team, however feels that the top teams in Spain are untouchable.
In an interview with the Corriere dello Sport the boss outlined, “Milan can compete with any Italian team in my opinion, but things are different in Europe. Teams like Barcelona and Real Madrid are from another planet.”
Galliani then moved onto discuss the state of Alexandre Pato’s fitness and hinted the player will make his return to the game very shortly.
“Pato? He is recovering very well. I expect him to make his comeback pretty soon.”
Milan continue their campaign on Saturday as they go head to head with Atalanta.
