Bede Ziedeng told Citi News “The president submitted a single nominee to the Council of Elders on Monday and [they] endorsed the nominee. He proceeded to meet NEC on Tuesday, where he submitted the name of his running mate in the person of the sitting vice president, Kwesi Amissah-Arthur. When he submitted the name various organs of the party all spoke to the issue and endorsed the President’s nomination.”
The Chairman of the NDC said We understand ourselves and we position our minds in positive directions every time, and for that matter we have a way of policing the positivity of minds, we put our minds positively to an event or instance and we achieve it. There was consultation, the President said this is the guy I want and then we all said that he is a good guy,”
The running mate, Vice President Amissah-Arthur would be out doored in the National Theatre later on today.
