The star-studded movie, starring herself alongside other most -ought-after Ghanaian entertainers, including Chris Attoh, Nadia Buari, Afro neo-soul singer Efya, hip life rapper Tiffany, Adjorlolo, Kweku Elliot, Eddie Watson, Anita Erskine and of course, Nigerian TV presenter-turned- actress, Tana Adelana was produced by Media GH in partnership with Yvonne Nelson Productions.
The steamy movie which is directed by Pascal Amanfo was described by Yvonne Nelson as a ‘no holds barred movie is loaded with movie excitement and movie enthusiasts should brace up for a thrilling experience when the movie finally hits the big screens later this month in Nigeria and Ghana.
The actress who was also crowned the Face of Ghana Best Actress 2011/2012 at a red-carpet ceremony held at the JFK International Hilton Hotel in the United States earlier this year further hinted that the release of the movie in both countries will be preceded by a red carpet movie premiere which will be attended by who-is-who in Nollywood and Ghollywood alike, including her fans and supporters who have been waiting anxiously for the release of the movie.
According to industry watchers, ‘Single and Married” is bound to put to rest all false rumours concerning the relationship between Yvonne Nelson and her Ghanaian counterpart, Nadia Buari.The A-list actresses who last starred together in 2009, when they featured in ‘Heart of Men’ have been rumoured to be sworn enemies. But four years after their last movie together, their collaboration in this flick is expected to clear the air on such rumours.
The captivating movie, according to an insider, is based on an everyday story that the ordinary African can relate to. It is told in a narrative form, with Anita Erskine as the narrator while Yvonne, Nadia and Chris play the lead.
