The 'Love on Top' singer will be the musical act at the NFL Super Bowl XVLII, held in New Orleans on February 3 next year.
The Super Bowl
is one of the biggest TV events in the US, watched by an estimated 114
million people. An official announcement confirming Beyonce's
performance is expected tomorrow (17.10.12).
This will mark the second time the singer has appeared at the Super Bowl, after she sung the US national anthem in 2004 in her hometown of Houston when the New England Patriots defeated the Carolina Panthers.
Traditionally, Super Bowl
performers are joined by special guests, and although nothing has been
confirmed, fans will expect to see cameos from Beyonce's husband, rapper
Jay-Z, and her former Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
Madonna performed at this year's half time show, which proved controversial when special guest star M.I.A. swore by sticking her middle finger up to a live TV camera.
Madonna - who was also joined on stage by rapper Nicki Minaj and pop duo LMFAO - later said she wasn't impressed with M.I.A.'s actions.
She
said: ''I wasn't happy about it. I understand it's kind of punk rock
and everything, but to me there was such a feeling of love and good
energy and positivity, it seemed negative.
''It's one of those
things, it's such a teenager. In a way, kind of irrelevant kind of thing
to do. There was such a feeling of love and unity there, what was the
point? It was just out of place.''
TV station NBC Sports issued an apology over M.I.A.'s move, calling it a ''spontaneous gesture that our delay system caught late.''
Sean Paul has revealed the reason why he kept a low-profile while rumours he was having an affair with Beyonce ran rife in 2003.
The 'Touch The Sky' hitmaker caused the rumour mill to go into overkill after he collaborated with Bey on their hit number 'Baby Boy' back in 2003 but failed to perform the track with the beauty at the MTV VMAs.
Many speculated at the time that Jay-Z had a hand in blocking the Dancehall singer from performing with his now wife.
"It was not a big deal to me, but it really blew up into crazy stuff." the Jamaican MC told RapFix Live.
"That's a rumor that started. I've known Jay-Z from before I knew her," he added.
Continuing to deny the rumoured rift, the MC also recalled a time when he met up with Jay-Z in his Roc-A-Fella office to seek advice on radio politics.
Speaking on why he kept schtum while the rumours continued to circulate, Sean Paul simply confessed there is no such thing as bad publicity.
"The general public blew it up in certain things. I just remained quiet about it for years because it was doing its work. There was just a lot of controversy," he said.
Adding: "She's an amazing artist, the song was at number1 for like nine weeks, so that was a very special time for me and for dancehall."
The Roc Nation songstress performed on Sunday, the second day of the music festival organised by Jay-Z, and was in great spirits after learning that her debut album ORA, had soared to number one in the UK.
Hanging out backstage, Rita was joined by her Roc boss Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, as they knocked back the drinks and partied away as they watched other acts perform throughout the day.
Under the guidance of Hova's management team, Rita has so far notched up three number one singles, including her debut solo track 'R.I.P.' featuring Tinie Tempah, all in the short space of the last year.
In addition to being a close friend of Rita's, Beyonce is also a close fan of the Londoner, praising her in a touching post on Tumblr.

Beyonce and Jay-Z are said to be "upset" with Kim Kardashian over comments she made about Rita Ora dating Kim's brother Rob Kardashian.
While Rita and Rob are rumoured to be dating, Kim hinted that she may not be happy with their relationship, tweeting last week that Rob needs to find himself a "good girl". These comments are said to have rubbed Rita's Roc Nation boss Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce, up the wrong way.
"Jay-Z and Beyonce aren't impressed since she tweeted about her brother Rob needing a good woman even though he's dating Jay's Roc Nation singer Rita Ora," a source told The Sun.
Kim's comments will most likely only add fuel to Jay and Bey's alleged dislike for the reality star, which was said to be enhanced once she began dating their best friend Kanye West.
The insider goes on to add that Kim and Kanye's relationship has been annoying those around them as they feel it may be a publicity stunt.
"People have been calling him KUWTK (Keeping Up With The Kardashians) because of all her gaffes. Only this week she compared reality TV to rap music, saying they were both misunderstood," the source adds.

NEW YORK (AP) — Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga and Michelle Obama are giving a helping hand to Beyonce.
Obama and the pop stars have signed on to support the global campaign for World Humanitarian Day which Beyonce marked Sunday with the release of a new video for her song "I Was Here," filmed at the United Nations in New York last week.
The
campaign asks that on Sunday people help others through such acts as
making sandwiches for the homeless or volunteering at a local charity.
The goal is to share 1 billion messages of hope.
A representative for Beyonce says that Bieber, Gaga, Obama, Rihanna, Shakira, Jay-Z, Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin and others will participate.
The 2012 VMAs are rapidly approaching (Green Day, Pink, One Direction,Beyonce and a bunch of other amazing people are performing!!), and Rihanna really wants you to vote for her! Rihanna, who is nominated for a whopping FIVE VMAs, recently appealed to her devoted Rihanna Navy with this photo urging them to vote, tweeting,

The quirky model showed off her impressive photography skills using
her family members as muses. One snap shows Solange herself laying in
the grass with her endless extensions wrapped around, enjoying the
serene surroundings and gorgeous weather, while another close-up shows
her adorable son Daniel Julez beaming into the camera.
Her older superstar sister Beyonce also makes an appearance,
presumably taken in July when the pair enjoyed some time in their
hometown of Houston, Texas, with their family and friends.
In the candid snap, Bey can be seen laying on a bed wearing a black
and white onesie with her hood up and matching boots while holding a
beer bottle up to the camera.

they have more love for the money and fame than they do for their
brothers and sisters, allowing demons and the “Elite” to used them as

All these secret societies go through different

“perfectly possessed” also. It isn’t necessary for you to go through a
blood sacrificial ritual to open up yourself to this demons, but it is

that became our mind set, making us think is normal for the economy to
be bad, that is normal to see and hear of wars, as well as the growth in
sexual perversion, it has become normal for people to be homosexuals,
and of course normal to use a spiritual art like music and turn it into a
weapon against the listeners.
This is a different world we are living in, brought to you by the snake who deceives the whole world by using the Illuminati who come to you as wolves in sheep clothing, to govern you through their now well known trick of Problem-Reaction-Solution. They create a Problem like Swine Flu, the bad Economy, a War, even Natural Disasters, which I will talk on another article, getting a Reaction of fear from the people, who will begin looking for an answer, ironically by going to the same individuals who created the Problem in the first place, to ask for the Solution,
which of course they had prepared before the problem had even evolved,
all these being part of their agenda to move forward towards their
ultimate Goal of Global Control.
Satanic Hip Hop

it was created as great way to inform and fight all the oppression
going on, by those powers, oppression which ended up infiltrating the
movement of Hip Hop turning it into what it is now, nothing but garbage
and propaganda that I call Hip Pop.
Another artist showing signs of satanic worship is Lil’ Wayne
and this is obvious when you listen to some of his tracks, like the
ones showed on the next video, where he confesses not having a soul
anymore by saying “when I look into the mirror in the morning I don’t see anything”, just like vampires are portrayed in movies, also by the pictures of Wayne doing the hand sign of Baphomet, the horns, while worshiping demons. There is also the guy who many other rappers call a snitch, 50 Cent, subliminally telling his fans to murder for money saying “do it now under my hypnosis” and claiming the mark of the devil 666.
Demon Possession through Music
A perfectly possessed person or in this case Hip Hop artist,
will write subliminal messages without noticing it himself, messages
that will induce a person to do anything or act in a certain way. The
possessed individual will even record songs that when plaid in reverse, a
diabolical message can heard, like I explained in the article “These are the End Times”,
by letting whatever spirit is in them, write their songs, in the form
of inspiration, which they receive after selling their soul, like Lil Wayne also mentioned, having sold his soul to stop his mental drought or lack of inspiration, then calling his next album after “Rebirth”. Eminem is possessed by the spirit called “Slim Shady”, as you may know, his latest single called 3 a.m.
is clear on the matter of possession, in the video he gets possessed
and used by evil spirits to go and kill people at 3 in the morning, the
time when devils have more power, this can also been seen in the movie
based on a true story called “The Exorcism of Emily Rose”.
On an even a deeper level, when these artists are possessed, the dark
spirits controlling the rapper can also transfer, through the records,
to the person listening and singing the tracks.

words of curse come out of their own mouths subjecting themselves to
these forces, having very sad consequences, like the case of the guy who
killed his entire family around 4am, right after yelling the Eminem song and screaming “I am Satan, I am the Antichrist, I’m gonna kill you”
to his wife, before killing her and his 2 children, then later when
realizing what he had done, he called 911 to report the murder and
turned himself in, because he had no idea why he did it.

We must be careful with the words that we speak, for this reason also
with the names we call upon when praying, because many of these evil
spirits are called by many of the names people use and they all serve
their god Lucifer aka Zeus for the Greeks, the chief Deity.

very interestingly, that in the same song he makes a mention of the
hour 3am, leaving no doubt of who is his god and the fact that he is a
possessed.

done so with an emotional July 3 blog post which revealed his

Frank, 24, took to his official website to post a long statement about his ‘first love,’ who was a man.

Beyonce visted the United Nations
headquarters yesterday (August 10) to get things in motion for the
launch of the 'giving back to charity' initiative 'World Humanitarian
Day'.
The ‘Single Ladies’ star, who has teamed up with the UN to launch an
initiative urging people to give back to charities, met with Secretary
General Ban Ki-Moon to talk about the new campaign that will launch on
World Humanitarian Day (August 19).
A special video for the singer's ballad ‘I Was Here’ from the her hit album 4
will be unveiled on World Humanitarian Day to mark the global event and
the launch of the 'giving back' campaign. It was fimed at the UN
headquarters last night.
A clip from the video has been given to the bosses of the campaign to
help encourage one billion people around the world to give back to
their communities.
Speaking about her involvement in the campaign, Beyonce said: “We all
see the headlines and we think what can I really do to help?
''World Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work
together to make a difference. This is our time to leave our mark on the
world and show that we were here and we care.''
The campaign website launched last week and encourages people to share their acts of goodwill.

elegance last night when she gave a heartwarming performance of 'I Was
Here' at the United Nations general assembly.
The 30-year-old singer, who was recently announced as the ambassador
for this year's World Humanitarian Day, was invited to the U.N. in New
York to give a speech marking the event and to film the music video for
the ballad which features on her latest album 4.
Dressed in a smart white long-sleeved, peplum blazer dress, Beyonce
was seen meeting U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon where they no doubt
discussed her new role, before she slipped into a stunning white
floor-length gown, decorated with white stones, that clung to her
voluptuous curves.
Beyonce sang the emotional track to hundreds in the General Assembly
Hall where the performance was recorded for the music video which will
be aired on the World Humanitarian Day, on August 19th.
Celebrities in attendance included The-Dream who was accompanied by a female companion, Julia Stiles and Diane Warren.
King of Calypso Harry Belafonte has branded Beyonce and Jay-Z two of the most socially irresponsible celebrities.
The power couple were named the world's highest paid couple this week by Forbes magazine, however, Belafonte says they aren't doing enough for society.
"I think one of the great abuses of this modern time is that we
should have had such high-profile artists, powerful celebrities. But
they have turned their back on social responsibility," Belafonte told
the Hollywood Reporter.
"That goes for Jay-Z and Beyoncé, for example. Give me Bruce Springsteen, and now you’re talking. I really think he is Black."
Bey and Jay reportedly took home an income of $78 million collectively in the year from May 2011.

Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles have topped Forbes magazine's World's Highest Paid Celebrity Couples list 2012.
The power pair are estimated to have made $78 million together in the
financial year ending May 1, moving them from second place in last
year's list, behind Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen, to first.
According to Forbes, Beyonce earned more in the last year than her
husband, amassing $40 million from sponsorship deals, sales of her '4'
album and royalties from her back catalogue. The figure is particularly
impressive as she also took time off to have the couple's first baby,
daughter Blue Ivy, who was born in January.
The rapper made an estimated $38 million from his 'Watch the Throne'
album and tour with Kanye West, continuing sales of his 'Decoded' book
as well as his many business interests, which include a nightclub and
Roc Nation record label, management and music publishing company.

modelling deals and his four-year, $72 million contract extension with
the New England Patriots. He has also made a foray into modelling,
signing contracts with Under Armour and UGG Boots.
Third on the list were fashion designer Victoria and soccer player David Beckham who are worth $54 million.
In fourth place are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, who banked an
estimated $45 million, and fifth were Will and Jada Pinkett Smith who
raked in an estimated $40 million.
Beyonce has reportedly began work on her
fifth album and it keeping the recording top secret. The singer has
reportedly hired a top security team to keep the studio session super
private.
The ‘Single Ladies’ songstress has hired music producer Hit-Boy, who
has just finished working with her husband Jay-Z and Kanye West on their
record ‘Watch The Throne’, to work on the music with her. He has also
previously worked with Nicki Minaj and her former Destiny’s Child
bandmate Kelly Rowland.
"She's spent thousands hiring out the whole studios. She's got
security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper," a source told The Sun.
"She's being strict with proceedings too, putting in 14-hour days declaring nobody leaves until it's perfect."
B is also currently working on a new documentary, which she hinted at last week.

Beyonce has donated her album track 'I Was Here' to the cause United Nations and humanitarian aid organisation.
The video for the song is set to be filmed at the UN General Assembly
Hall in New York in front of a live audience later this month.
Speaking about her involvement in the campaign, Beyonce said: “We all
see the headlines and we think what can I really do to help? World
Humanitarian Day is an opportunity for all of us to work together to
make a difference. This is our time to leave our mark on the world and
show that we were here and we care.”

Meanwhile, Beyonce has joined a long list of celebrities
congratulating Olympic gold medalist Gabrielle Douglas, after she made
history at the London 2012 Olympics.
The 16-year-old gymnast was crowned champion in the artistic
all-round gymnastic event yesterday, making her the first black female
ever to have won in the solo event.
Stars including Beyonce, Oprah Winfrey, Nicki Minaj, Pink, Justin
Bieber and Lady Gaga have all congratulated the Team USA, but Douglas
outshone her teammates, with the 'Single Ladies' star calling her
"inspiring".
"A huge congratulations to 16 year old Olympic gold medallist Gabby
Douglas - Wow - what a thrill to watch you take this gold! - Enjoy this
moment, it's yours. Thank you for inspiring all of us! Love, B," the
30-year-old wrote in an open letter on her official blog.
