PAC Threatens To Subpoena Woyome

Alfred Woyome failed to appear at the Public Accounts Committee yesterday. The PAC has stated that they would subpoena him to the committee for him to answer some questions.

The PAC says it has the power to subpoena Mr Woyome provided if its legal committee gives it the green light.


The lawyers of Woyome however wrote in response to the committee when he was subpoenaed "our client will not take part in proceedings relating to this matter before your committee.”

Hon. Kan Dapaah said on Peace FM that the Committee has powers of a High Court and can compel individuals to come before it.
