Why the old generation fail to run along with fashion and technology

Just image an old man wearing the latest pencil jeans, timberland, shirts and holding the latest iPhone. What would be your impression. Mostly, it is very difficult to find individuals like this who fit the correct description. What some of the factors accounting for this


FASHION

When it comes to facebook, it is mostly the younger generation that follow fashion. One of the factors is that most of the latest fashion that come in the public domain are either very heavy for the older generation to wear or the light that it makes them feel uncomfortable.

Also, the older generation assert that fashion belongs to the younger generation. The younger generation don't want to enter into the older generation and vice versa

The older generation also think that fashion is a complete waste of time. Most of the older generation also fear that they might be stigmatized and called all manner of names if they don't dress like old people. Hence they say "if you want to be treated like an adult you have to dress that part."


TECHNOLOGY

When it comes to technology, the reason why most of the older generation fail to keep up with it is because most of the older generation are a little bit conservative and prefer to stick with the old ways of doing things.

Also, most of the older generation find new technologies as difficult to operate and want to spare themselves of the hustle and bustle.

Also, most youth think that technology is a reserve for the younger generation and also a waste of time. Most older generation prefer to be simple and live a simple lifestyle.
