Kotoko fans take swipe at management of the club for releasing midfielder Yahaya Mohammed

asante kotoko fans - Ghana.

Fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have launched a stinging attack on the management of the club for allowing midfielder, Yahaya Mohammed to leave for Amidaus Professionals on loan.
Mohammed captained Amidaus in their maiden premier league match against Kotoko last Sunday and was a constant threat to Kotoko in the goalless draw game.

The fans think Yahaya Mohammed’s presence in Kotoko’s set up will have been crucial since midfield stalwart, Daniel Nii Adjei is set to join TP Mazembe.
"There is no Nii Adjei and the only player who can hold the midfield, Mohammed is the one who has been released.
“We all saw what he did to us over the weekend, he made our boys look like ‘small boys’ and I think releasing him was wrong,” one of the stalwarts of support wing, Circle 77 told Kumasi based, Boss FM.
One other fan who also spoke on ‘Fabulous hour’, a sports program on the same network where only matters of Kotoko are discussed declared their readiness to boycott Kotoko games if they continue to put up lackluster performances like they did against Amidaus Professionals on Sunday.

Kotoko’s next match is an away encounter with regional rivals, Ashantigold at the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi.
