NDP want to avoid ridicule-Ben Ephson

“I believe that it has come to a point that it was necessary for something to be done to avoid may be public ridicule or something,” Mr Ephson told Joy News on Monday.

According to Ben Ephson, the reason why the NDP is bent on getting the former first lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings is to prevent them from being a laughing stock. He said the above extract when he was interviewed on Joy Fm yesterday, 8th October, 2012

He said the splinter party wanted to scuttle the votes of the ruling National Democratic Congress, which they broke away from, but are somewhat disappointed that former President J.J. Rawlings, whose objectives the party claims to be championing, was yet to hop onto their bandwagon.

However, the former first lady has already picked up her nomination forms for the NDP
