The most talk about event from One Mic Entertainment lived up to high expectations and has ranked its self as the best show of the year – 2012.
The Mr. Versatile show represented a pivotal moment for Okyeame Kwame who teamed up with Roverman Production to dramatize a story of Okyeame Kwame marrying his true love (which was played by Raquel) with supporting music acts.
As promised, this was a drama, poetry and music performance show. A-list collaborators such Raquel, Samini, Da Bradez, Richie, Old Sodja, Kesse, Akatakyire and Slim Buster jumped on stage to add glitz to the proceedings.
Meanwhile, the celebrity attendance were Nana Konadu Agyemen-Rawlings, Stephanie Benson, KOD and more.
Okyeame Kwame was defiantly ‘In The Building’. Hit after hit poured through the speakers with DJ Andy Dosty handling the turntables before the main drama started.
Tinny and Edem were missed in the auditorium when they couldn’t make it but a live recording performance was projected in the giant screens mounted on the stage as to make the audience feel their presence.
Okyeame Kwame’s story was staged in the act of music, arts and dance. The story talks about Okyeame Kwame (Skinny) who lets go off his girlfriend (Raquel) because of poverty and failure to marry her after ten years of dating.
But later gathers courage to go win back his true love and journeys to her hometown to propose marriage. Meeting people like Caroline, Kesse, Samini, Da Bradez also gave him good advices and urged him on to go for his girlfriend.
Funny Face ended the whole show with his appearance as a witness to the marriage ceremony of Okyeame Kwame and Raquel.
