STUDENT OF BENKUM SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL RAPED

For parents who had their wards in Benkum Senior High School when news of the raped of a first year student broke out, they either called the school authorities to find out if their wards were alright or journeyed to the school to find out if their wards were alright. Benkum Senior High School is a school in the Eastern Region.

iNewsGh gathered two sides of the story. The girl was alleged to have been watching pornography on her phone one Saturday afternoon and immediately after that she went and had sex with her boyfriend. As the alleged love makers were having sex, some people caught them red-handed and requested sex or else they would inform the school authorities and the girl agreed. After the whole event, the girl was feeling weak.

The other story is that the girl was going to give a book to her senior and after she had delivered the book a gang of student saw her, pushed the door and raped her. This story is from the raped girl herself. When the news reached the boys prefect he quickly informed authorities and the headmaster also informed the police.

The headmaster the next day couldn't talk during assembly, he was so shaky. As of now, GES, NUGS and other agencies have stepped into the case and the law is now taking it's full course.

For students of Benkum Senior High School, they can't go out wearing their school uniform because people always give them a stern look whenever they see them. Normalcy has returned to the school however security has been tighten.All fun fares have been put on hold.

As for the people who had sex with the girl, they are now in police custody awaiting prosecution. iNewsGh would continue to update you as matters arises
