In Ghana, people do not do internet marketing. In other to curb this menace and a young innovative Ghanaian known as Dua Fordjour got the initiative and created the website www.ghanafreemarket.com.

The National European-African entrepreneurship award 2012 was held in The Hague, The Netherlands.

The categories were spread on: The best business idea, Innovation, Social impact, linking migration and development etc.

Though we didn’t win, the first price to represent The Netherlands on European level, but we are honoured to win on Innovation and social impact.

With this award in hand www.ghanafreemarket.com has been recongnized not only in the Netherlands but at the European Union level.

This will mean that, we will be able to continue to provide our free online business training, to support Ghanaians who are interested in starting their own online businesses.

Our doors are open to all and sundry for business advice and our website is open 24 hours daily for people to advertise their products online free of charge.

A big thank you to the entire DFD team for coming with the idea for awarding a best business plan on migration and development, and for recognizing www.ghanafreemarket.com as a valued business in the online marketing.
