I Have Sniffed Cocaine- Pastor Lord Kenya

Top Ghanaian circular music icon turned pastor Lord Kenya has made one of the biggest revelations of his old time music career.
Last Friday, Kenya told hundreds of music fans who trooped to the Dome of the Accra International Conference Centre for Empire Entertainment’s ‘Back In The Day Concert’ that he used to smoke wee and sniff cocaine.
However, he said, he had given up on that lifestyle because he was a new person and had given his life to Jesus Christ.
After performing bits and pieces of his old songs that didn’t have profane lyrics, the audience pushed him into that direction but Kenya didn’t.
He performed ‘Driver Susu Ko’, ‘Sika Baa’, ‘Okafuo Didi’ and ‘Born Again’ among others. Interestingly, Kenya has a lot of songs which don’t have profane lyrics.
After a while on stage, he paused and asked fans what song they wanted to hear. There they tried taking him to the next level but Kenya did not get there.
He then asked patrons who among them could rap. GH ONE E-Talk hostess Amanda Jissih then grabbed the microphone from him and gave a few lines from the popular hit track ‘5’o clock’ and challenged Kenya to rap.
Kenya took the microphone and rapped a few lines from ‘Sika Baa’ and told the crowd he once sniffed cocaine and smoked wee but was a changed person now.
He left stage that night reminding the audience and pals on the music scene that God is coming soon.
The ‘Back In The Day Concert’ coincided with the 103rd birthday celebration of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, first president of the Republic of Ghana.
Music enthusiasts danced and sang along during performances  from  T-Blaze, Joe Frazier, Ded Buddy (now Qwesi), Paa Dogo, Native Funk Lord (NFL), TH4Kwages, Akatakyie, Keteke, Ex-Doe, Chicago, Slim Busterr, Abrewa Nana, Kontihene, Obrafour, Tic Tac and VIP.
VIP was amazing on the night and former member Friction joined the group on stage with former manager and TV presenter Blakofe to perform.
Obrafour, Tic Tac, Slim Busterr and Akatakyie were some of the musicians whose performance the fans enjoyed.
