TESCON: President Mahama is planning to engage in vote buying

The Kwane Nkrumah University of Science and Technology branch of the tertiary confederation network of the New Patriotic Party has released a press statement claiming that the President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama is planning to rig the election through vote buying.

BELOW IS A COPY OF THE PRESS STATEMENT

The KNUST branch of the tertiary confederation network of the New Patriotic Party (TESCON- KNUST)  would like to inform the general public of an on- going vote buying exercise for President John Mahama on the campus of the Kwame Nkrumah University for Science and Technology. This exercise is being carried out on behalf of government by the student wing of the National Democratic Congress (TEIN- KNUST).

Students of the university are lured to join a newly formed movement YOUTH IN ACTION FOR MAHAMA (YIAM)  on the assurance of being given huge sums of money ranging from five hundred Ghana cedis to  thousand Ghana cedis should they become members of the movement and subsequently vote for President Mahama in the upcoming elections.

This clearly shows the preparedness of the NDC to do everything to win power in the upcoming elections. TESCON KNUST is therefore calling on the general public to vote massively against this incompetent, corrupt and vote buying NDC government.

DATE……..11/09/2012.
