Oprah Winfrey has been named the highest-paid female Hollywood celebrity by Forbes magazine.
The Next Chapter TV star was named Hollywood’s highest-paid female celebrity after it was reveled that she has earned $165 million between May 2011 and 2012 before ending her hit 'Oprah Winfrey' show.
"Her net worth, which we peg at $2.7 billion, will keep her on our 400 list for years to come," the magazine explained.
“But this might be one of the last years ashe tops our highest-paid women list,” Forbes added.
The list compiled by Forbes takes into account the 58-year-old earnings while running her hit show and her work on Harpo production company, her radio station and magazine, regardless of what she takes from OWN.
"But don’t cry from Winfrey –even though she’ll earn less than $165 million next year, she’ll still pull in enough to keep her on the list, even if she’s not at the top," the magazine added.
Other celebs to enter was newest X-Factor Judge, Britney Spears with $58 million, Rihanna tieing at fourth place with chat show host Ellen Degeneres with $53million and Jennifer Lopez and Lady Gaga at $52 million.
