Domino finds it inspiration from hard times. It is different from hard times because this one talks about how the death of an individual can leave a mark on one's heart that usually take so long a time to heal. Domino VIII also explains why Oliver; Joseph Yaw Frimpong's controversial character has such a cold view about women.

Joseph Yaw Frimpong uploaded three covers for Domino VIII, unfortunately two of them were rejected. The first cover was said to be too dark and wasn't portraying anything. The second one failed to make the mark but the above photo is the finally cover photo and it is going to be used in the poem.
