Important dignitaries like ex- president John Kufuor, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong and a host of others were on stage when this incident occurred.
The Presidential Candidate however has not sustained any injuries. Some say that this was due to fatigue, they went ahead to say that Nana Addo has not slept very well for the past weeks due to the campaign and is not ready to rest since it is only left with about five days to elections.
He(Nana Addo) said ''am fine. It was an unfortunate incident. I hear all kinds of funny things when these things happen. All I know is that I was speaking and the stage gave way. Dr Addo Kufuor kindly came and gave me a quick examination when I got back to the house and I have a clean bill of health.”
Nana Addo noted that, “the followership of the NPP should rest content it is one of those incidents.”
