NPP men to carry generator to polling station

Ghana on the 7th of December , 2012 will hold an election to elect a President and Members of Parliaments. Already, some polling agents of the biggest opposition parties(NPP) are planning  to carry generators to the various polling stations in order to prevent the ruling party from rigging the elections.

The NPP have been protesting about the incessant power outages experienced in the country. The NPP have blamed the ruling party, NDC for it's ability to solve the power crisis and have even gone ahead to suggest that it might rig the elections during these incessant lights out.

iNewsGh went around talking some NPP polling agents and they revealed that in order to prevent the ruling party from rigging the elections through these incessant power outages, they will go and hire generators so that as soon as the lights go out, they will power the lightening system in order to prevent unforeseen circumstances.

We went ahead to ask them who was going to bare the cost. They revealed that the cost was going to be bore by them. They explained that it is better for them to bare the cost and prevent rigging than to be ''miser'' and allow their opponent, who are noted for electoral malpractices'' to rig the elections.

Meanwhile, the presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo is in the Ashanti Region Capital, Kumasi, holding it's last rally in the region.

He has called upon all Ghanaians to vote for him since the ruling government, NDC, is incompetent.
