Events outfit Charter House has donated an undisclosed sum of money
to the Welfare Fund for old Musicians of the Musicians Union of Ghana
(MUSIGA).
Theresa Ayoade, Executive Director of Charterhous, at a special
presentation ceremony said, “her organization decided that every year,
they will make some donation towards the fund for the aged musicians.
She talked about Charter House’ interest in nurturing musical talents
in the country through their flagship Stars Of The Future program, a
release sent to enewsgh.com, reads.
MUSIGA President, Bice Osei Kuffour, thanked Charter House for their
gesture, applauding the “very cordial relationship that has existed
between the two organizations for all these while”.
In a related development, MUSIGA has held its maiden employees awards
scheme ceremony. An end of year Staff and Executive meeting was
organized on Friday December 21, for Executive Members and Staff of the
Union.
The longest serving staff of the Union, Baba Nsor, a “night Security
Officer” for the Union since 1999, received a special award.
