The Demonstration dubbed "Ya Yɛ Dɛn Demo" was led by the Ashanti Regional branch of the opposition party,New Patriotic Party.
The purpose of the demonstration was to announce the uttermost displeasure over what they believe is the deliberate bastardization by the current,NDC government.
Concerns were raised towards the continuous erratic power supply and issue of capitation in the region.Protestors raised red flags on the capitation of the National Health Insurance Scheme ,stating it was making access to healthcare in the region inaccessible.
