Kumasi Polytechnic closed down

Kumasi Polytechnic has been officially closed down due to the POTAG strike. The students have been have been given up to Saturday to vacate their various hostel and leave for the house. POTAG today went for a meeting to decide whether to stop the strike or to continue which they choose the latter.

The students are worried and have expressed serious concerns. The SRC had a meeting together with the student body when the Dean of Student came to communicate the message to them. The school wanted to let the student write the exams so that the lecturers could also continue with the strike action.

However, the lecturers have vowed vehemently not to mark the examination even if the examination was conducted. The school administration had no option than to close up the school.

As it stands now, no one knows when the examination would be conducted.
