Rihanna Pulls Out Rock Rio Festival Following Grandmother's Death

Rihanna has cancelled her upcoming appearance at this year's Rock In Rio festival in Madrid, Spain following the death of her grandmother.
The 'Where Have You Been' singer was due to perform at the music event on Thursday (July 5), but will no longer play her headline slot due to her grandmother Monica Braithwaite's passing.
Organisers of the festival have apologised to fans and offered to refund tickets. They are currently searching for a last-minute replacement.

The news follows Rihanna's less than impressive performance at the ‘Peace and Love’ Festival in Sweden.
Fans were left furious by her less than impressive by her performance with some accusing her of being drunk.
The 24 year-old took to Twitter over the weekend to pay tribute to her late grandmother who lost her battle with cancer.
She tweeted: “Goodbye #grangranDOLLY get your beauty rest until I see you”.
The star’s fans are well aware of the close bond she shares with her grandmother and immediately began sending their love and condolences to the ‘You Da One’ star.
Rihanna last saw her grandmother two weeks ago when she delayed her trip to the UK to spend time with her in New York.
Ri is due to headline Wireless Festival in London on Sunday (July 8), which is still scheduled to go ahead.
