NDC is corrupt; They’re throwing money away - Nana Addo

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo, has launched a scathing attack on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration, saying the Mahama-Amissah-Arthur ticket is a corrupt one.

Speaking at a mini-rally in Asokwa in the Upper West Akim constituency in the Eastern Region, Nana Addo said the level of corruption in the current administration was holding the country’s growth and development back.

“Under former President [John] Kufuor, a six-unit classroom block cost GHc85, 000,” the opposition leader stated.

“In just three to four years of the NDC government it cost GHc240, 000. How can this be happening? How can we be throwing money out like that?” Nana Addo asked.

The NPP flagbearer further mentioned that such behavior was “unacceptable because the country’s money could have been used for development.”

Nana Addo has been in the region as part of his “Restore Hope Tour”.
